ISLAMABAD, September 26: The Patron in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulama Board and Head of Tehreek e Nifaz e Fiqah Jafariya Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that the rise in natural disasters is because of increasing Munkiraat and avoiding Maroofat. As the gate of Toba is still open therefore, the prayers and supplications taught by Hazrat Imam Zain ul Abideen (A.S) must be used to seek forgiveness of Allah. Obscenity is touching skies, if Muslims had acted upon on the sayings of the holy Prophet (PBUH&HP), teachings of Ahl-e-Bait e Athaar (A.S) and the Prophet’s pious companions (R.A), they would have saved themselves from problems. It is mandatory for everyone to help the victims of earthquake and raise voice for the oppressed Kashmiris and Palestinians to be able to adhere to the holy Prophet’s saying about arranging for the matters of Muslims. The sacred character of Imam Sajjad (A.S) is the key to success for the oppressed nations which can be followed by the Muslim Ummah to rectify its mistakes and thwart conspiracies of international colonial powers while also paving way towards the freedom of Kashmir, Palestine, establishing lasting peace in Yemen, Syria, Afghanistan, and making the whole Islamic world including Bahrain, Qateef, Nigeria and Egypt a model for human rights protection. He said this while addressing to the Majlis e Beemar e Karbala held on Wednesday on Ashra e Beemar e Karbala (A.S).

Agha Moosavi noted that the life of Hazrat Imam Zain ul Abideen (A.S) is a role model for worshipping the ultimate creator and serving the world of humanity. The pious character of Syed ul Sajideen Hazrat Imam Zain ul Abideen (A.S) provides lessons to speak truth in front of the tyrant rulers and love and support the oppressed. He said that Hazrat Imam Ali Zain ul Abideen ibn-e-Hussain Ibn-e-Ali (A.S) was like a mountain of patience and courage who completed the revolution of Karbala. If he along with the granddaughter of the holy Prophet (PBUH&HP), had not given sermons to highlight the purpose of Imam Hussain’s (A.S) refusal from pledging allegiance to Yazeed, the tyrant dictators would have succeeded in hiding the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (A.S) and making alterations in the Islamic Shariah. He said that it was the movement of Azadari e Hussain (A.S) founded by Imam Zain ul Abideen (A.S) which exposed the heinous crimes of the rulers and people found courage to speak truth in front of tyrants. After his release from the prison and return to Medina, Hazrat Imam Zain ul Abideen (A.S) adopted a unique way of prayers and supplications which were not only a way to find closeness with Allah, but also preached to follow the character of the holy Prophet (PBUH&HP) while also a source of strength enabling oppressed people to refuse submission against oppressors. That is why the collection of his supplications is known as Saheefa e Sajjadiya as well as Zaboor e Aal e Muhammad (PBUT).

Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that Imam Ali Zain ul Abideen (A.S) was the torchbearer of Hussainiyat and role model of truthfulness and righteousness. All the freedom loving people are able to learn to refuse from submission against oppressors the training center of the freedom fighters of every era is found in the pious characters of Hazrat Zainab bint-e-Ali (A.S) and Syed e Sajjad Imam Zain ul Abideen (A.S). This is why the freedom movement of Kashmir strengthened further when besides sacrificing lives in the battlefields, Kashmiris started confronting against Indian atrocities in the streets and markets also while the sacred character of Imam Sajjad (A.S) adopted as a spokesperson for the freedom struggle of Kashmir. He said that the sermons of Imam Sajjad (A.S) were so powerful that they defeated who was the most tyrant and barbaric dictator Yazeed (L.A). He said that when Hazrat Imam Zain ul Abideen (A.S) along with the ladies of the holy Prophet’s family entered into the court of Yazeed, he like prophets gave an eloquent sermon in which he introduced his family and stated about the oppression against the holy Prophet’s grandson Imam Hussain (A.S) which made everyone in the court crying and wailing and their voices became so loud that they frightened Yazeed. Fearing from a possible revolt, Yazeed ordered to recite Azan to cut the sermon of Imam Zain ul Abideen (A.S). When the Moazzan reached at the declaration of Ashhad o Anna Muhammad ul Rasool Allah, the Imam Zain ul Abideen wept and said O Yazeed, for God’s sake, tell me Is Muhammad (PBUH&HP) my grandfather or yours? indeed he was your grandfather, replied Yazeed. Then why did you kill his family? Asked Imam Sajjad (A.S). On this, Yazeed did not answer and left the court while saying that I have nothing to do with Namaz. Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that Imam Zain ul Abideen (A.S) announced in the court of Yazeed that till the time declaration of Muhammad’s prophethood is present in Azans, Hussain will remain alive while Yazeed will be cursed. He said that apparently, Imam Zain ul Abideen (A.S) was living a life of isolation however, he was maintaining and protecting revolutions through his deeds and actions. His supplications were defeating the falsehood and his pious Mustafavi and Murtazavi character was a question mark for the luxurious life styles of dictators and rulers which was unbearable for them and therefore, they poisoned the holy Imam Zain ul Abideen (A.S) on 25^th Muharram ul Haram 95 AH.
