Moosavi demands accountability of those who have made properties in the garb of religion; terrorism would not have been promoted had there no showering of dollars and riyals from foreign countries on religious parties

ISLAMABAD, February 11: The Patron-in-Chief of the Supreme Shia Ulema Board and Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has demanded accountability of those who have made properties in the garb of religion. Terrorism would not have been promoted had there no showering of dollars and riyals from foreign countries on religious parties. The Two-Nation Theory guarantees Pakistan’s survival. Had we not come to the fore to stop Ziaul Haq’s Martial-Lai steps aimed at negating the Two-Nation Theory then the Pakistan would have lost its foundation? Seeking votes on the basis of sect, Maslak and bias is poisonous for the nation. It was our continuous struggle owing to which restrictions were imposed on extremist organisations. The Moosavi Formula presented in the Supreme Court is the basis of National Action Plan and there is need to implement every provision of the Action Plan so as to root out terrorism completely. People were inducted in all institutions set up for Islamisation including the Islamic Council of Ideology keeping the political interests and this step is contrary to the real objectives of these institutions. We always rejected positions offered to us as we seek respect and honour for Pakistan and the nation. Those who have sold out Baitul Maqdas they would not even care for Ka’aba. We would not bargain the national rights nor would allow anyone to do so by following the path of Madar-e-Hussain (S.A.). These views were expressed by him while addressing the elite of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya and its subordinate bodies gathered here from all over the country to celebrate the 36 years of their leadership.

            Agha Moosavi said it is a tragedy of the Islamic World that the OIC does not consider Kashmir as their issue; the Muslim countries do not give any importance to the issue of life and death for ten million Kashmiri Muslims and 210 million Pakistanis. One should not boast of mere phone calls made by some ministers. The main states of the Islamic World have made India their blue-eyed state. He wished that OIC Charter would have been reflective of European Union and NATO; had Muslim countries would also considered attack on any one Muslim country as an attack on the whole Islamic World then the condition of Muslims would not have been so depleted as it is today.

            The TNFJ chief said that how can those countries who have bargained Palestine would give any importance to Kashmir? The rights are not achieved through begging; Kashmiris and Palestinians should not expect any good from Muslim rulers as they only keep their own interests supreme. He said Kashmiris and Palestinians would have to continue their struggle as freedom will be theirs one day because the martyrs of Karbala have written on the face of history that no power on earth could defeat the movements launched by the oppressed.

            Agha Moosavi said the colonial and Zionist powers had a plan to divide Muslim countries into Masalik and sects but by the Grace of God Shias and Sunnis are united even today. We got the restrictions imposed on Eid Milad-un-Nabi and Azadari-e-Imam Hussain (A.S.) processions removed by courting 14,000 arrests. He said we are the followers of Ali Ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) whose announcement that “I am entering your city with three things; if I go out with more than that then make yourself understand that I have violated your trust” is still echoing in the history. Therefore, he added, we offer ourselves for accountability before anyone else does.

            The TNFJ chief said that global world has forgot the razing to ground holy shrines in Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Moallah; we highlighted the issue of restoration of symbols of Ahle Bait Athaar (A.S.), pious Sahaba Kubaar (R.A.) and Ummahatul Momineen (S.A.) at international fora. He said we would not rest till the restoration of lost glory. He said the objective to create the custom of observing the special days of the Mashaheer-e-Islam is to apprise our new generation of the deeds committed by the benefactors of Islam.

            The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that he accepted the leadership of the nation out of the blue when he was forced to do so in the name Chadar-e-Zehra (S.A.). He has made a commitment that no one will be allowed to cause any harm to the nation and the country whether the nation supports him like Hussain’s (A.S.) companions or leave him like the companions of Muslim Bin Aqeel (A.S.), he concluded.
