The United Nations Secretary General should take steps to fulfill the promise of self-determination made with the Kashmiris - Hamid Moosavi

ISLAMABAD, February 17: The Patron-in-Chief of the Supreme Shia Ulema Board and Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that India has trampled the United Nations Resolutions under the feet. The United Nations Secretary General should take steps to fulfill the promise of self-determination made with the Kashmiris. Praise for hosting the Afghan Muhajireen is not enough; the international community should also heal the wounds inflicted on Pakistan. India should not express her anger over the statement of Turk President as it is not their internal matter but is the issue of life and death for one-third population of the world. Had the United National not exercised ceasefire with India then the whole Kashmir would have achieved independence. Supporting the point of view of Kashmiris by Turkey, Malaysia and Iran is a good omen while the rest of the Muslim rulers have no courage as they are following their owning interests. We should beware of American offer for mediation otherwise Kashmiris and Pakistanis will suffer like Palestinians did. Hazrat Fatima Zehra (S.A.) is the great exemplary lady of religion and Shariat. The personality of Hazrat Fatima (S.A.) has become the title of woman’s dignity. Women at large will remained imbibed to the daughter of Rehmatul Lil Alimeen (SAAW) and Madar-e-Hasnain (S.A.) forever. Woman folks could get rid of western and eastern exploitation by following the Seerat-e-Fatiman (S.A.). These views were expressed by him while addressing the concluding session of Ayyam Azmat-e-Niswan organized in connection with the Youm-e-Wiladat of Syeda-tul-Nisa Al-Alimeen Khatoon-e-Jannat Hazrat Fatima Zehra (S.A.).

            Agha Moosavi said that how can Kashmir be an international affair of India? She herself took this issue to the United Nations where the United Nations not only recognized the right of self-determination of Kashmiris but India herself promised on January 5, 1949 to give right of self-determination saying to give proof of being a responsible country by organizing the plebiscite as soon as peace is restored in the locality but India neither fulfilled her promise nor the United Nations ever thought to get this promise fulfilled during the last 71 years. He said instead of giving right of self-determination, put restrictions on the voice of Kashmiris. He said the biggest failure of the United Nations is its Hippocratic attitude that awarded independence to in Mashriqi Taimoor and Southern Sudan as per desires of their people but Kashmiris and Palestinians are being punished being Muslims to-date. He said it is tragic that the big world powers have failed to check India and Israel despite watching the illegal bloodshed. He lamented that all international champions including United Nations, big powers, Muslim States and OIC are keeping silence on atrocities against Kashmiris.

            The TNFJ chief said the freedom movement of Kashmiris is the biggest movement in the human history. He said when freedom movements in the sub-Continent were not rife even then Kashmiris were busy in achieving their human rights from the then dictator Maharaja and even today they are not ready to give up their slogan for the right for self-determination. He said Kashmiris continued to attract the world through peaceful demonstrations till 1988 but owing to inattention of the world nations and the cowardice of the Muslim rulers they gave their movement the armed colour in 1989. The movement took a new turn after the Shahadat of Burhan Wani which put Indian into fear and Indian started massacre of Kashmiri Muslim and put uncountable homes to fire, Kashmiris were buried in unknown mass graves while put thousands of Kashmiris including their senior leader in jail in far off places in India but no power on earth could succeed in bowing down Kashmiris.

            Agha Moosavi said more than a year has passed but curfew is still imposed on Kashmir; media links are cut off and people have been pushed beyond the stone-age. Condemnable efforts were made to devour Kashmir completely by revoking Article 370 and 35A. He said they also tried to deprive Muslim majority of their identity by allowing non-Kashmiris to purchase land in the State in a bid to separate Laddakh from Kashmir and make it a part of Indian Union. The strong hit to Kashmiris’ oneness had deprived the 5,000 years old state and its people from their identity. He said all those powers who love the oppressed are under the obligation to help Kashmiris and Palestinians achieve their independence. He said            the world should keep in mind that the only solution to Kashmir issue lays in giving them right of self-determination in the light of United Nations Resolutions as no other solution to it would be acceptable.

            The TNFJ chief said the religion of Islam is the protector of singular and collective human values and according to these golden principles and values brings up such human beings who are complete symbols of human values. He said one of such personalities is daughter of the Rasool (SAAW) Hazrat Fatima Zehra (S.A.) who being the Paighambar’s (SAAW) daughter is the symbol of chastity, contentment and piousness. He said being the spouse of Amirul Momineen Ali Ibne Abi Talib (S.A.) she is the symbol of patience and forbearance and being a mother is the parenting of brave Mujahideen like Hasnain Sharifain (A.S.), Hazrat Zainab (S.A.) and Hazrat Kulsoom (S.A.).

            The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that the humanity should know that role of women is as effective and enforceable like that of men in correcting the Jamia Islamia and forwarding the affairs of life. He said Hazrat Fatima Zehra (S.A.) is that highly valuable personality who was considered the protector of new values during her life and even after her Shahadat benefited the Jamia Islami with many modern values of life. He made it clear that the western slogan of women freedom is like pushing women into the deep humiliation and disgrace from where they are saved by Islam courtesy the personality of Hazrat Fatima Zehra (A.S.).

            Meanwhile, according to reported reached at the Markaz of Maktab-e-Tashih Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya the events and Mahafil in connection with the Wildat Purnoor of Khatoon-e-Jannat Hazrat Fatima Zehra (S.A.) were organized in every nook and corner of the country which were attended by Shia and Sunni Muslims without any discrimination and paid devotion and tributes to the Shafa-e-Mahshar Dukhtar-e-Rasool (SAAW) Hazrat Fatima Batool (S.A.).
