The enemies of religion and motherland are again conspiring to push Pakistan forty years back to the era of hate and sectarianism. President, Prime Minister, Chief Justice and Army Chief must take notice - Hamid Moosavi

ISLAMABAD, July 12: The Patron in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulama Board Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that the enemies of religion and motherland are again conspiring to push Pakistan forty years back to the era of hate and sectarianism. President, Prime Minister, Chief Justice and Army Chief must take notice. Presenting those who abuse army, judiciary and constitution as reformers is a criminal act. The blood of martyrs must not be wasted be making proscribed organizations as respectable. Preparations are underway to curb Azadari and Meelad ul Nabi programs however, we will sacrifice our lives but would never compromise against religious freedom. Pakistan is a bouquet of different sects. The dream to suppress Barelvi and Shia schools of thought is part of the foreign agenda. Elements keeping soft corners for proscribed organizations are playing at the hands of enemies. We sacrificed lives and our blood has spilled for the safety and defense of motherland Pakistan therefore, cannot be silenced against anti-Pakistan elements. We will bear all hardships but will never let the traders of hate and terror nurtured by the foreign funding succeed. Those who spent lives in struggling against anti-Pakistan and hate preaching elements are being booked in schedule-IV. He said this while addressing to the members of Jafria Action Committee. He also announced to commemorate 21 to 23 Zeeqad as Ayyam e Aza in connection with the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Imam Ali ibn-e-Moosa al-Raza (A.S). Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that the government has banned 76 organizations but not one leader of any of the proscribed groups has been punished till date while some of them are not even included in Schedule-IV. Even if those having relations with other countries are booked in Schedule-IV, they are still kept free of any restrictions. Council of Islamic Ideology, Ulama boards and Peace committees are full of representatives nominated by the proscribed groups while same negligence is causing a tough FATF against a country which sacrificed the most in war against terrorism. He lamented that those who spent lives in struggling against anti-Pakistan and hate preaching elements are being booked in schedule-IV while on the other hand, no one takes action against those who often disrespect the sacred personalities of holy Prophet (PBUH&HP), his sacred progeny (A.S), pious Umhat ul Momineen (A.S) and Auliya e Karam (R.A). Blasphemous remarks against Imam Mehdi (A.S) who is equally respected by all schools of thought and his name is still engraved on the walls of Masjid e Nabvi and Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S) wounded the hearts of Shias and Sunnis alike. Similarly, the leader of womenfolk, Lady of heavens Hazrat Fatima Zahra (S.A) was disrespected to belie the holy Quran but hurdles are being created against registering FIRs even through courts. Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that leaving the criminals free and registering countless FIRs against those who commemorated the martyrdom anniversary of the righteous caliph Hazrat Ali Ibn-e-Abi Talib (A.S) and now Azadars are being booked in schedule-IV as reprisal. He said that Meelad and Azadari paved way for the creation of Pakistan and thwarted all attempts of oppression by British occupiers. Azadari is the most peaceful way of protest by the oppressed and no civilized religion, country or constitution confiscates the right of peaceful protest. Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that we are peaceful citizens and never bug anyone else while never compromise on our own religious ideologies. Those trying to test our patience must not forget our history.
