The resolution of reconstructing Jannat al Baqi by the Sindh Assembly represents the voice of entire Muslim Ummah; Federal Government must urge Saudi government for the restoration of holy shrines - Hamid Moosavi

ISLAMABAD, June 16: The Patron in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulama Board, Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that after Punjab Assembly, the resolution of reconstructing Jannat al Baqi by the Sindh Assembly represents the voice of entire Muslim Ummah. Federal Government must urge Saudi government for the restoration of holy shrines belonging to the lady of heavens Hazrat Fatima Zahra (S.A), Ahl-e-Bait Athaar (A.S), pious companions and wives of the holy Prophet (PBUH&HP). Muttehida Ulama Board is an unconstitutional institution that does not represent the nation. Assigning responsibility of vetting text books to the Ulama board is a violation of the constitution. Muttehida Ulama Board and Royat e Hilal committees both are unconstitutional institutions while the Council of Islamic Ideology is only allowed to propose. We only abide by the constitution and perform all tasks in accordance with the human, Islamic and constitutional rights while strongly reject all unconstitutional and oppressive actions. Like their predecessors, the existing government is also following a policy to suppress Maktab e Tashayyo and bring it under influence however, one must remember that we will never compromise our rights. Government must not forget that even the most tyrant dictators could neither suppress our forefathers nor will they ever succeed against us or our descendants. To eliminate disrespect, mere bills cannot do any good rather sincerity is the aspect that is mandatory. Government must immediately take notice of disrespecting the lady of heavens Hazrat Fatima Zahra (S.A). Muslim Ummah is faced with the calamities only because of offending and hurting the beloved daughter of the holy Prophet (PBUH&HP). He said this while addressing to the members of Jafriya Action Committee. Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that we brought out Matami protest processions on 25^th Rajab, 21^st Ramzan, and 8^th Shawal which is part of our fundamental rights and we strongly condemn the interventions, arrests and FIRs against these programs. Government must expel undue FIRs, release those detained or arrested, take action against the officers involved in confiscating basic rights as otherwise, we will not refrain from using our constitutional and legal right. All rulers and evils of the world must remember that protest is our basic right and it will continue till the eradication of oppression.

Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that after the first world war, the geography of Muslim countries was changed as per an evil Zionist conspiracy so that the Islamic world gets disintegrated and consequently become an easy target. After that the next step was taken in 1926 when the holy Shrines of the lady of heavens Hazrat Fatima Zahra (S.A), Ahl e Bait e Athaar (A.S), pious companions (R.A) and wives (R.A) of the holy Prophet (PBUH&HP) situated in Jannat al Baqi and Jannat al Mualla were bulldozed. Since the destruction of Jannat al Baqi to the attack on Umar bin Abdul Aziz’s shrine, the destruction of shrines all across the Muslim countries is part of the same conspiracy. After little protest, the Muslim Ummah went quiet about the disrespect of the heroes of Islam however, forty years back, the Tehreek e Nifaz e Fiqah Jafariya revived struggle for the restoration of shrines in Jannat al Baqi and Jannat al Mualla and spread this campaign to all parts of the world. In its Moosavi-Junejo agreement with the then Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Khan Junejo that was signed as a result of 8-months long agitation of Hussaini Mahaz, Tehreek e Nifaz e Fiqah Jafariya bound the government of Pakistan to urge Saudi government for the reconstruction of demolished shrines in Jannat al Baqi and Jannat al Mualla. In case of ignoring this critical matter, the evil forces will not refrain from targeting the holy Prophet’s shrine in Masjid e Nabvi and the shrines of the Prophet’s companions. Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that the worship places of Jews, Hindus and Christians on the land of Hijaz are not only safe rather they are undergoing further decoration while the signs of Islam are being consistently destroyed. United Nations, UNESCO and other international organizations for the protection of historic monuments must protect these Islamic cultural sites. Disrespect and destruction of shrine is not a problem of Shias only rather it is a common problem of the whole world of humanity as disrespecting shrines is like disrespecting humanity. Shrines exist in 56 Muslim countries which are open to visits however, it is only Saudi Arabia where raising voice for the shrine is considered a sin because of the Zionists supervision. Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi vowed to continue his struggle for the restoration of holy Shrines till the reconstruction and restoration of their lost dignity.
