Taking part in elections on the basis of sect, Maslak and biases imprints poisonous impact on the country and the nation; giving a free hand to the proscribed groups in Gilgit-Baltistan elections is a matter of concern; we will not allow to alter the Two-Nation Theory in the politics of self-interest - Hamid Moosavi

ISLAMABAD, November 15: The Patron-in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulema Board Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that taking part in elections on the basis of sect, Maslak and biases imprints poisonous impact on the country and the nation. Giving a free hand to the proscribed groups in Gilgit-Baltistan elections is a matter of concern. We will not allow to alter the Two-Nation Theory in the politics of self-interest. A conspiracy to turn Muslim States into Maslaki States is behind the spread of sectarianism. The alliances based on different thinking and interests cannot last long. Expecting actions against blasphemy from States busy in the run to recognize Israel is useless. We contested the first wave of corona with the strength of religion and will do the same in future. No power can stop Eid Milad-un-Nabi and Azadari processions. These views were expressed by him in his address to Azadaran and the media while leading the central Matmi protesting procession taken out to observe the Wisal of Nigehban-e-Risalat Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.). It merits mention here that Tehreek Nifaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya had declared Matmi protests during the Ayyam Al-Huzn against the blasphemous caricatures.

Agha Moosavi said the those who boast to be Muslims should discourage violence and extremism. He said those who are involved in blasphemy would fail. He said the historic symbols of non-Muslims are being protected in Arab soil while Islamic symbols are being wiped out. He lamented that about 80 parties were declared proscribed but these are working freely and are also sitting in all institutions including Ideology Council, Ruet-e-Hilal Committee. He said giving multiple posts to those who spread hatred poses a question mark; it seems that terrorism and extremism is the requirement of some powers. He said restrictions on media are not good, closing down channels and newspapers is not bravery. He said Nabi (SAAW) had been under the patronage of Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) in Makkah and Allah declared the patronage of Abu Talib (A.S.) as His own Patronage. He said the mourning of Nigehban-e-Risalat Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) and Ummul Momineen Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) is Sunnat-e-Rasool (SAAW); Nabi Kareem (SAAW) had declared the year of their Wafat as Aam Al-Huzn. Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) sacrificed his offspring and all belongings on the ideology of Tahaffuz-e-Risalat, he added.

The TNFJ chief lamented that there is a hue and cry on a blast in a non-Muslim graveyard in which a few people have been injured but there is criminal mum over the desecration of Jannatul Moallah and Jannatul Baqee graveyards where graves of benefactors of Islam, Ahle Bait Athaar (A.S.), pious Sahaba Kubaar (R.A.) and the offspring of the Rasool-e-Kareem (SAAW) are situated. He said had Muslims not insulted Rasool-e-Pak (SAAW), his relatives and pious Sahaba then the non-Muslims would not have the country to involved themselves in blasphemous incidents. He said the daughters of the Nabi (SAAW) were brought into bazaars, Imam Hussain (A.S.) who used to ride the Mustafa’s (SAAW) shoulders was heinously martyred, Khanwada-e-Risalat were fed with poison, the blood of pious Sahaba was used in mud for construction purposes. He said despite all this, those who follow the path of Abu Talib (A.S.) kept the Parcham-e-Risalat (SAAW) flutter high in comparison to those who are involved in blasphemy.

Agha Moosavi said the Muslim Ummah has itself to follow the real Islam derived from Quran and Ahle Bait (A.S.) as was advised by the Rasool (SAAW) so as to resolve the issues confronted by them. He said what a pity that reciting Naat, Darood before Azan, and reading Zairat in graveyards is not allowed in Saudi Arabia; there is need for the Muslim States to broaden their vision. He said according to Sunan Abi Daud, the Rasool (SAAW) had ordered one Sahabi to demonstrate protest by putting all his household outside his home as a result of atrocities committed against him by another Sahabi; after which everyone who passed by used to curse the oppressor because protest against oppression is the basic right according to the tenets of Quran and Sunnah. He said we support the enemy of every oppressor and every oppressed according to a saying of Maula Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S.).

Meanwhile, according to reports reaching the headquarters of the Maktab-e-Tashih, protests against blasphemy continued during the Ayyam Al-Huzn on Saturday. The TNFJ and its subordinate bodies carried out Matmi protests at different places including in front of National Press Club. Addressing these gatherings, the protestors demanded from Muslim States to take joint and effective steps against continued incidents of blasphemy.
