TNFJ delegation met with the provisional minister of law; issues of Azadar's and wave of hatred discussed

ISLAMABAD, October 7: A delegation of TNFJ Punjab comprising of the regional representatives of TNFJ led by the provincial President Allama Syed Hussain Muqaddasi met with the Law Minister Punjab Raja Bisharat, Additional Chief Secretary Home Momin Agha and other high officials at Lahore Secretariat On request of the Punjab Government,. The discussion included the issues faced by Azadars during Muharram al Haram, recent attempts of spreading hate among different sections and the heinous role of proscribed organizations in sabotaging the peace and harmony of the society. While stating the purpose of the meeting, Raja Bisharat said that maintaining peace and harmony in the country is a collective responsibility while the government is faced with a challenge to control enemies operating through social media which is a very difficult task. He mentioned that Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi and TNFJ has played a vital role in creating a conducive environment for inter-faith harmony and promoting brotherhood and therefore, we expect same cooperation in future also. The leaders of TNFJ Allama Syed Hussain Muqaddasi, Allama Syed Zahid Abbas Kazmi and Hassan Kazmi pointed out to the government officials that not only Shias but Sunnis also participate in Majalis and Jaloos and often arrange Sabeels (arrangement for drinking water) during the mourning processions. They said that we will never compromise on Azadari while love for motherland and for the whole world of humanity has been a part of our faith. The act of any individual must not be associated with the entire Maktab e Tashayyo as Maktab e Tashayyo has offered unmatchable sacrifices for the national solidarity and peace of the country and will keep offering them in future. There exists no Shia-Sunni conflict in the country rather those receiving foreign funding have been creating unrest through spreading hate. On the other hand, government’s actions are intensifying the feeling of deprivation among the followers of Maktab e Tashayyo. Proscribed organizations are part of government’s committees, institutions and even present in the assemblies. Relaxations extended to the proscribed groups resulted in the attacks on the mourning processions in Okarra and Islamabad. Leaders of Royat e Hilal Committee and Ulama Board are biased people who are still spewing venom by representing ideologies of Takfeeris and Kharjis. Elements of proscribed groups are sitting in Council of Islamic Ideology while the National Action Plan has been abandoned. When the government itself will not take care of the rule of law and would not distinguish between good and bad, then how exactly would the peace be established? Registration of bogus FIRs under baseless allegations and unjustified arrests of Ulama and Zakireen is a big question mark on the performance of law enforcement agency. Ban on in-house Majalis are unconstitutional and violation of fundamental rights. Protection must be ensured for traditional and Licensed processions, mistakes of Government’s record and schedule must be rectified, baseless FIRs against Azadars and Organizers of Majalis and Jaloos must be ended. The series of threatening them with Scehdule-IV must be stopped. Strict notice must be taken about the blasphemous remarks and slogans of Kafir Kafir on Social Media while Nasbis and Kharjites who consider everyone as Kafir except themselves, must be seized to ensure peace. Takfeeri trends running on Twitter and other platforms of the social media. Tahaffuz e Bunyad e Islam bill was rejected on the basis of being in violation of the Quran and Sunnah as well as the constitution of Pakistan. We strengthened the foundations of Pakistan through our blood therefore, will never tolerate any unconstitutional act. Declaring them as unreal, the dignitaries of Tehreek e Nifaz e Fiqah Jafariya rejected the statis presented by the CTD during the meeting and declared them the result of one-sided actions. The law minister acknowledged the deficiencies at government’s end and assured of rectifying mistakes and improved steps. He also demanded that all sects must point out the miscreants hiding in their respective domains and express separation from them while also teach their youth to stay cautious of enemy’s trap and avoid falling prey to the hate spreading elements. Members of Police and Security institutions, DC and CCPO Lahore also participated in the meeting.
