Gawadar suicide attack was the result of bewilderment of India, the eternal enemy of Pakistan - Hamid Moosavi

ISLAMABAD, August 22: The Patron-in-Chief of the Shia Ulema Board and Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Mousavi has said that the Gawadar suicide attack was the result of bewilderment of India, the eternal enemy of Pakistan. The display of unity and brotherhood shown by the citizens of the motherland thwarted the conspiracies of anti-patriotic forces. The security agencies including army and police deputed to maintain peace, voluntary organizations, media highlighting Hussainiyyat, Shia-Sunni brethren’s practical display of peace, Ulema, Zakireen, Waizeen, founders of Azadarai programmes and Matmi Azadaran deserve appreciation. This was stated by him while addressing the office-bearers of Markazi Muharram Committee Azadari Cell of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya.

Agha Moosavi lamented that at some places, attempts were made to discredit Pakistan by banning gatherings even within the chardivari. He said the Sunni and Shia brethren by organizing Zikr-e-Hussain (A.S.) in every street and locality proved their eternal allegiance with Hussainiyyat and the echoes of ‘Labbaik Ya Hussain’ dispelled the propaganda of the forces that present Muharram as a monster (hawwa). Hussain (A.S.) who lives in every heart and tongue, guarantees the stability and defense of Pakistan and the glory and survival of Islam, he added.

The TNFJ chief demanded strict punishment for those proscribed organizations who were perpetrators of attacks on Azadari processions in Bahawalnagar, Faizganj, Khairpur, Pindadan Khan, Kot Ghulam Muhammad and Mirpur Khas and Jhang. Terming insult to women and violence them a Yazidi act, he called upon the government to raise the issue of violence against Aafia Siddiqui in the United Nations. He said the womenfolk will always proud of Syeda Zainab binte Ali (S.A.) for keeping the flag of righteousness and truthfulness high. He announced to observe Ashra Beemar-e-Karbala from 15 to 25 Muharram to pay homage to Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) and the Aseeran-e-Karbala who gave a new lease of life to Islam.

Agha Moosavi said that Pakistan's brave forces, security agencies and the people fought an exemplary war against terrorism in the face of the flood of terrorism created by the United States. He said that the whole world should be grateful to Pakistan. He said that foreign funding played a significant role in organizing banned terrorist groups inside Pakistan to make the external agenda a success by causing internal instability in Pakistan.

He said the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafaria has been raising voice against the organisation being fed on foreign funds for the past four decades. He said these parties would not have succeeded to settle in had the rulers and the politicians not formed political alliances with these proscribed parties and use them as pressure groups. Had it not been for these parties, they would never have succeeded in gaining a foothold. He said that despite all efforts, those who use religion as a cloak of politics have always been defeated. He said that National Action Plan is an excellent strategy to eradicate terrorism. All shelters of terrorists can be eliminated and sporadic acts of terrorism can be prevented by implementing this plan in letter and spirit.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi clarified that it is the duty of every patriotic citizen and institution to thwart those who spread hatred and terror. The government should not give any concessions to those who follow the foreign agenda, he said adding the government should stop the proscribed organisations from working with new names otherwise the great successes achieved against terrorism can be turned into failures.
