On the call of the TNFJ, peaceful protests held against insult caused to Imam Musa Kazim, the Ahlebait (AS) and the pious companions (RA)

 

ISLAMABAD, July 3: Friday, the second of July was observed as a peaceful Protest-Day on the call of Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi to condemn multiple incidents of blasphemies against Hazrat Imam Musa Kazim (A.S), Ahl al Bait (A.S), and pious companions (R.A) of the holy Prophet (PBUH&HP). Nationwide protests were held on this occasion. Addressing to the protestors, Ulama e Karam and the leaders of TNFJ demanded severe punishments for the perpetrators of blasphemous incidents while also vowed to offer all kinds of sacrifices in the defense of respect and dignity of Mashaheer e Islam i.e. Islamic heroes. On this occasion, Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi addressed a gathering at Al-Murtaza. He applauded the joint meeting of military and political leadership and stressed to stop ignoring activities of proscribed organizations. He said that without clutching the internal enemies, any meeting held for the sake of national security will go in vain. He said that appointing the national criminals and stooges of foreign countries in the Council of Islamic Ideology, Boards and peace committees is a threat to national security. He said that blasphemy against Hazrat Imam Musa Kazim (A.S) and honorable ladies of the holy Prophet’s family is tantamount to inviting wrath of God. Agha Moosavi demanded that those slinging mud on holy Prophet’s (PBUH&HP) companions to protect elements who caused humiliation for Islam must be brought to justice. He alerted that the beloved motherland is under multiple threats therefore, one must not succumb to political bargains and blackmailing. He warned that we cannot stay silent on the blasphemous acts against Islamic heroes and conspiracies against national peace. The nation must unite against rapidly changing situations and subsequent challenges. TNFJ’s protest rally at National Press Club Islamabad was led by the Secretary General of TNFJ Syed Shujaat Ali Bukhari, TNFJ’s President for Federal Capital Allama Bisharat Hussain Imami, Central Convener of the Protest Day Committee Syed Irshad Hussain Naqvi, Zulfiqar Ali Raja, Ulama e Karam and other dignitaries. Addressing to the participants of the rally Allama Bisharat Hussain Imami strongly condemned the blasphemous remarks against Ahl e Bait (A.S), holy Prophet’s Companions (R.A) and fanning the flames of hatred on social media and termed the incidents as a conspiracy by our eternal enemy. He stressed upon the government, opposition and all religious, political segments of the society to unite against the enemy’s conspiracies. Government must arrest the perpetrators of blasphemous incidents and hand them exemplary punishments. He also demanded the government to take back bills approved by the parliament in haste and make necessary amendments to make them acceptable for all schools of thought. On this occasion, Syed Zulqarnain Naqvi presented the resolution which stated that the enemis of Pakistan have once again committed blasphemy against holy Prophet’s (PBUH&HP) Ahl-e-Bait (A.S) and companions (R.A) to destroy the inter-sect harmony and sprit of brotherhood. The resolution said that the man claiming to be connected with Ibtasam Elahi Zaheer and mentioning himself as Abdul Rahman Salfi alias Aazan is involved in uttering strongly condemnable blasphemous remarks and abusing the sacred personalities of Islam including Aaima e Ahl e Bait (A.S) Hazrat Imam Musa Kazim (A.S), Hazrat Imam Muhammad Taqi (A.S), Hazrat Imam Ali Naqi (A.S), Hazrat Imam Hassan Askari (A.S) and honorable ladies of the holy Prophet’s (PBUH&HP) family. The resolution lamented that the perpetrator of blasphemous act against Aaim e Ahl-e-Bait (A.S) has neither been arrested nor any action has been taken against him. The resolution demanded to the government to act on all points of the National Action Plan and purify the state institutions including Council of Islamic Ideology, Muttehida Ulama Board, and peace committees from the elements of proscribed organizations acting as the local facilitators of the enemies of peace. The resolution rejected the recently introduced Single National Curriculum for Education by declaring it as a deviation from Quran o Sunnah as well as the founding ideology. Another resolution termed the recent amendment bill in Muslim Family Laws 1961 ordinance as intervention in Fiqah Jafariya and demanded from the Prime Minister Imran Khan to take notice of the continued intervention in already settled matters. Protests were also held in Karachi, Quetta, Hazara Town, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Gujranwala, Peshawar, Muzaffarabad, Bagh, Kohat, Shikarpur, Larkana, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Mureedkay, Athara Hazari Jhang, Chiniot, Jehlum, Dina, Chakwal, Attock and several other cities of Pakistan.
