Hamid Moosavi termed the rejection of Amendment Bill of Muslim Family Laws Ordinance 1961 by the Senate Standing Committee for Law & Justice as the victory of Nazria-e-Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, July 14: The Patron-in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulema Board and chief of the Tehreek Nifaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has termed the rejection of Amendment Bill of Muslim Family Laws Ordinance 1961 by the Senate Standing Committee for Law & Justice as the victory of Nazria-e-Pakistan and said it would increase the harmony amongst the different Masalik. It merits mention here that the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya had rejected the said Bill when passed by the National Assembly last month terming it contrary to the beliefs of the Maktab-e-Tashih.

In his reaction issued from the headquarters of the Maktab-e-Tashih Wednesday he paid tributes to members of the Senate Committee and suggested the government to identify which powers are behind damaging the reputation of the government day in and day out by trying to introduce such issues. He said by the Grace of God neither there is no Maktabi conflict in Pakistan nor they will allow any. He advised all the stakeholders to avoid initiating such arguments that may promote hatred amongst the recognised schools of thoughts. He said there is utmost need to overcome the thinking of imposing one’s belief on the other.

The TNFJ chief asked the Minister for Religious Affairs to tells who those Ulema of Shia Maslak are who have created the consensus translation; he challenged them to bring the consensus translation of Surah Fatiha to the fore only. He said solidarity cannot be created by force. He said beliefs of any Maktab cannot be changed by printing the consensus translation; we reject every translation and interpretation that may be contrary to our beliefs.

Agha Moosavi advised if they desire to promote unity then they should print only those translations that are recognised by all Masalik. He said Pakistan is already confronted with host of problems within and without, therefore, the rulers should give priority only to the Constitution and do not create new issues. He said the presence of Ideology Council is an open negation of the Article 228 of the Constitution. He asked that by bringing joint Seerat-un-Nabi how could the government will get rid of Khalifate differences spread over 1400 years? He said the Ahle Sunnat brethren consider Hazrat Abu Bakar (R.A.) as the first khalifate while Maktab-e-Tasheyo considers Hazrat Ali Ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) as the first khalifa (Bila Fasl).

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that country is passing through a critical phase. He said the chief of the colonial powers America when reached this region two decades ago it became a threat for the security of the region and now, they are creating new issues when quitting the region, the bad effects of such a situation will have to be suffered by not only Afghanistan but all its neighbours including Pakistan. He stressed the need to fulfil those objectives for which Pakistan was created. He suggested that instead of pushing all Makatib, Masalik, provinces and nationalities, they should be taken along for achievement of these objectives.
