Women must follow the family of the Holy Prophet (AS)  in order to gain respect and get their rightful place in society - Hamid Moosavi

ISLAMABAD, June 13: The Patron-in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulema Board and chief of the Tehreek Nifaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that women must follow the chastity and purity of the Khawateen-e-Ismat and Taharat of Khanwada-e-Risalat in order to gain respect and get their rightful place in society. He expressed these views while addressing a function organized in connection with ‘Youm Azmat-e-Niswan’ marking the Wiladat-e-Purnoor of Hazrat Fatima binte Imam Musa Kazim (A.S.), Masooma-e-Qom (S.A.), here Saturday.

Agha Moosavi said that Allah Has blessed the human being with honor and grace and the standard of Fazeelat is piety while the word human being is applied to men and women. He said that in every age people have been born adorned with piety, similarly many women have also been role models for other women in their respective eras. One of these famous women, he said, is Hazrat Fatima Masooma (S.A.).

The TNFJ chief emphasized that the honor bestowed on the city of Qom is due to this noble woman who held a great position in asceticism and piety in her time. He believed that the basic reason for the holy places and Muslim States being the target of global devils was the domination of rulers who were not honest and trustworthy. That is why after the defeat of the Ottoman Caliphate, the holy places and pious symbols of Makkah and Madinah were demolished which is a dark chapter of the history of Islam.

Agha Moosavi said that before Islam the concept of woman was considered shameful and a defect as a result of which there was a common practice to bury the girl child alive. He said in that environment, camels were expensive and women were cheap. If a baby girl was born in a family, it was considered a stain on their forehead. He said that in such a dark age, the Prophet (SAAW) after declaring his Risalat became a source of attaining the status of honor and dignity for women.

The TNFJ chief said that all the virtues of woman are due to the existence of Khatoon-e-Jannat Hazrat Fatima Zahra (S.A.). Like man, a woman was also required to acquire knowledge. He said that the shrine of Hazrat Fatima (S.A.) binte Imam Musa Kazim (A.S.) is a symbol Azmat-e-Niswan and Marja-e-Khalaiq. He said that the government of Pakistan, which was established in the name of Islam, is obligatory to take practical steps for the dignity and rights of women.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi expressed concern that Pakistan is a victim of enemy’s terrorism for decades. The Jawans of the Pakistan’s Armed Forces are breaking the backs of the terrorists by sacrificing their lives in the cowardly acts of aggression and their ultimate victory is certain. He said that the rulers and politicians should come out of the shackles of caste and creed for the honor and security of religion and homeland and ensure implementation of every provision of the National Action Plan, giving priority to the principles of Islam, and tighten the noose around heads of proscribed groups and their facilitators so as to turn the country into a hub of peace.
