ISLAMABAD, June 28: The Patron in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulama Board Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that after the disputed curriculum, the amendment bill for Muslim Family Laws Ordinance 1961 is an intervention in Fiqah Jafariya. Prime Minister Imran Khan must take notice of the continued interference in already settled matters. Maktab e Tashayyo must not be considered as a derelict sect. We are the heirs of Haider e Karrar (A.S), when we decide about taking action, we never step back. We will not allow anyone to make amendments not only to personal but also the public laws. While talking about introducing a common translation of the holy Quran and a uniform interpretation of Seerat al Nabi (PBUH&HP), the Minister for Religious affairs must not forget that a common translation of even a single verse of ablution in Surah Maida could not be agreed in fourteen hundred years, how would the government find a common translation for the whole Quran? Differences of Caliphate and Imamat cannot be obliterated by printing a common Seerat al Nabi (PBUH&HP). “One Nation One Curriculum” is in fact a project of imposing a particular ideology. Shias, Barelvis and minorities have been targeted under the garb of single national curriculum. Medini-state cannot be founded by ignoring Meesaq e Medina. Enemies are lining up on our borders, they must not be helped by instigating internal conflicts. Our beloved motherland Pakistan must be spared for God’s sake. We have always intended for the betterment of the country and consider it Haraam i.e. illegitimate to bother anyone else however, we will not stay quiet If interventions in our ideologies and attempts to uproot foundations of the motherland are not stopped. We have taught the way of peaceful protests to the whole world, government must not forget Hussaini Mahaz agitations of 1980, 1984-85. Wafaaq’s must not be presented as representatives of the sects. Government must bring fore the names and ideological backgrounds of those who prepared and reviewed the curriculum. Those living on foreign funding will only be considered as representatives of foreign countries. Millat e Jafariya rejects the drafts signed by the members of MMA and proscribed organizations. The actions of unconstitutional institutions like Muttehida Ulama Board are also unconstitutional. The so-called representatives holding seats in assemblies, senate and committees are answerable to the lady of heavens (S.A) for their silence. He said this while addressing to the core committee meeting of Tehreek e Nifaz e Fiqah Jafariya.

Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that on one side, we have our eternal enemy India while on the other side, American evacuation from our brotherly country Afghanistan has been a source of uncertainty whereas our relations with the brotherly country Iran are also not as good as they must be. In this grave situation, efforts are being made to entangle Pakistan in internal problems.  He said that Pakistan was founded on the basis of two-nation theory which is why the article 2 of the constitution declares the religion of the country as Islam however, all types of efforts and traps have been laid to sabotage Pakistan’s founding ideology of two-nation theory. After separating our eastern wing, Indra Gandhi had boasted about drowning the two-nation theory while Modi also claimed to eradicate the two-nation theory. Similarly, not only externally but the founding ideology have also been under attack from within. During the period of the dictator Gen. Zia ul Haq, all efforts were made to diminish this theory which is why terrorism started touching the peaks and now despite several operations and National Action Plan, terrorism is rising again. After terrorist attacks in Lahore and Rawalpindi, the soldiers of Pak army have been targeted in Sibbi also. Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that planning to create unrest and sectarian conflicts in Pakistan is underway. Religious affairs minister talking about introducing a commonly accepted Seerat al Nabi (PBUH&HP) must tell that how exactly would he be able to resolve the centuries old ideological difference between Shia and Sunni through a so-called common script as Ahl-e-Tashayyo believe Hazrat Ali ibn-e-Abi Talib (A.S) to be the Imam, the direct successor as well as the nominated caliph of the holy Prophet (PBUH&HP) while Ahl-e-Sunnah declare Hazrat Abu Bakar (R.A) to be the first caliph.

He said that Islamic directives and sectarian matters must not be joked. In 80s, for the sake of our faith, we had installed the flag of Hazrat Abbas e Alamadar (A.S) alongside the flag of Pakistan on Secretariat while offered fourteen thousand arrests during Hussaini Mahaz agitation to let the world know that we will never allow Pakistan to become a sectarian state. Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi demanded to take back all disputed bills and actions including the so-called single national curriculum and amendments in family laws, while all energies must be utilized to fail internal and external enemies.
