The demand for pardon of terrorists is against justice and the perpetrators should be punished according to law - Hamid Moosavi

ISLAMABAD, November 4: The Patron-in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulema Board Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that the demand for pardon of terrorists is against justice and the perpetrators should be punished according to law. In the new curricula Islamic heroes have been ignored. The sacrifices of Hazrat Abdul Muttalib (A.S.) and Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) should be included in the syllabus. Not just the names of the banned parties but also their work should be banned. The rulers keep their self-interest supreme instead of the interests of the nation and the country. They should take notice of criticism against the Quaid-i-Azam and Allama Iqbal. The open Takfiri sloganeering against the recognised schools of Muslim thought highly reprehensible. He expressed these views while addressing the media representatives and mourners during the closing mourning procession of the universal Ayyam-ul-Huzn. On this occasion, Secretary General TNFJ Syed Shujaat Ali Bukhari, Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi Central Secretary Information and other religious scholars were also present.

The TNFJ chief said that the government should curb miscreants, and ban their participation in elections in the name of religion and sect. The parties use Islam as a shield which is against the spirit of Islam. He said the policy of the Arabs is ambiguous because the churches are becoming temples while the shrines of Ahle-e-Bait (A.S.) Athaar and Sahaba Kubar have been demolished. The policy of Ziaraat should be made keeping in view the poor people. Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) is the guardian of the Holy Prophet (SAAW) whose deeds are declared by Allah Almighty as His deeds in Quran.

Agha Moosavi said that Islam is the best religion and ideology from amongst all religions the world over which has been confirmed by Quran which says only religion of Islam is the complete code of life before Allah. He said in Quran those who helped Musa (A.S.) were declared Momin who used to hide their faith. Hazrat Musa (A.S.) was asked to migrate otherwise he had been killed but Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) used to offer his bed to the Prophet (SAAW) and sometimes put his son on the Prophet’s (SAAW) bed so that the Prophet (SAAW) would remain safe. He said had Abu Talib (A.S.) not did that it would have been dangerous for the Holy Prophet (SAAW). In other words, he added, it is like Abu Talib’s (A.S.) deeds were that of Allah. That is why Allah Almighty has declared the Abu Talib’s refuge for the Abdullah’s orphan as His own refuge, he added.

The TNFJ chief said that the causes of love include feelings of kinship, patriotism and humanity. Despite his closeness, Hazrat Noah’s (A.S.) son could not help his father in preaching the religion because he and Noah's (A.S.) religion were not the same. He said similarly the wives of Hazrat Noah (A.S.) and Hazrat Loot (A.S.) did not help them because they did not share the same religion. He said owing to difference in religion the near ones of the Anbia did not help them while Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) always remained in the forefront in support and help of the Rasool-e-Khuda (SAAW) on every occasion and every place that verifies the faith and Islam of Abu Talib (A.S.).

Agha Moosavi said that the new curriculum of Pakistan has completely ignored the powerful personalities of Islam including Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) Sultanul Aulia of Sindh Hazrat Sakhi Shahbaz Qalandar and Shah Abdul Latif Bhattai. Contrary to the prestige of the times, an anonymous personality of Sindh has been included in the syllabus. The people will not accept such steps of the rulers. In order to prioritize the solution of their pain and problems should be considered in implementing a uniform curriculum by the government.

Responding to a question about the curriculum, he said that while formulating the curriculum, the beliefs and ideologies of all schools, classes and even minorities in the country should be taken into consideration, otherwise it would be called sectarian and not a national curriculum. He demanded from the government to take the people into confidence about the shortcomings of the abolished curriculum and the merits of the new curriculum. The virtues and sacrifices of the great heroes of Islam like Hazrat Abdul Muttalib and Hazrat Abu Talib should be highlighted in every forum including the curriculum. Of the eight sons, Abu Talib (A.S.) and Abdullah (A.S.) were from the same mother, so when the Prophet (SAAW) was asked who he wanted to go to, he went and sat on the lap of his uncle Abu Talib (A.S.) instead of anyone else. The upbringing and support of the last of the prophets, whose sacrifices are a shining chapter in the history of Islam.

In response to a question about the protest of a banned religious group, he said that the government itself is responsible for whether it had reached an agreement with anyone or not. One hundred and ten percent of the people had heard their demand for deportation of the French ambassador. Responding to a journalist's question about bringing banned groups into the national mainstream, Agha Moosavi said that whoever is guilty deserves to be punished before putting them in the national mainstream, it would not have been possible.

Earlier, Majlis-e-Aza was held at Imambargah Zainul Abideen (A.S.) under the auspices of District Youm Al-Huzn Committee of the TNFJ after which a Azadari protest procession was taken out. The procession was led by Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya and other Ulema, Matmi Salaars and elders.

Meanwhile, according to the information received at the headquarters of the Maktab-e-Tashih, mourning processions were held in all the provinces of the country marking the end of the Ayyam Al-Huzn and paid pursa in Bargah-e-Risalat.
