ISLAMABAD, October 4: Hassan Kazmi, the Secretary Public Relations of Tehreek e Nifaz e Fiqah Jafariya Pakistan has warned that unreasonable quarantining of the pilgrims returning to Pakistan after performing pilgrimage Ziarat of the shrines of holy Prophet’s (PBUH&HP) family members and continued discriminatory actions against them is completely unlawful. Government must stop holding pilgrims in illegal detention. Any action in the name of NCOC’s directive that impose unfair restrictions on religious programs or violates our constitutional rights will be kept at the tip of the shoe. If crackdown against followers of holy Prophet (PBUH&HP) and his sacred Ahl ul Bait (A.S) is not stopped, the whole world will witness our power while the government along with its unjustified directives will no longer be visible. Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi had stated that strength must be sourced from religion to fight against calamities, diseases and pandemics however, instead of controlling COVID, NCOC has been targeting religion for the last two years. Except religious practices, COVID SOPs and restrictions are not applied anywhere including the government meetings, political gatherings, bazars and markets. If some authorities intend to be atheists, they must keep it to themselves rather than imposing it on entire nation. Our beloved motherland Pakistan was founded on the basis of religion and will continue to be Islamic forever. Any action dragging Pakistan towards atheism will be strongly confronted. It is extremely shameful that Pakistani pilgrims meeting extraordinary welcome, respect and admiration in Iraq have to face humiliating attitude as they return to their homeland. In the name of quarantine, pilgrims are taken to detention by the Police while also forced to bear rental expenses of the undue detention. The world never respects a nation that doesn’t respect itself he reminded. Hassan Kazmi appealed to the Prime Minister to take immediate notice of the problems and ensure rectifying actions as Pakistan under siege by various internal and external enemies cannot afford policies based on injustice. |
