ISLAMABAD, April 4: The Patron in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulama Board Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that playing with the constitution and democracy is a matter of grave concern. He siad this in his reaction over the current situation in the country. In a statement issued from the Headquarter Maktab e Tashayyo, he reminded that the responsibility to protect constitution and law is now on the Supreme Court. Agha Moosavi Further stressed that instead of protecting personalities and their interests, constitution and democracy must be saved. He siad that government and opposition must not violate constitutional boundaries as the failure of politicians can destroy the democracy. All sides must ignore personal and political interests to prefer national interests and ensure safety and security of the motherland instead of suppressing each other so that the conspiracies of the enemies could be thawrted. |
