ISLAMABAD, February 3: The Patron in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulama Board Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has announced to stage nationwide protest on 25th of Rajab. Addressing to a meeting of TNFJ’s Core Committee he said that the mourning protest is going to be the first step against confiscation of constitutional and legal rights of the Shia school of thought as we have been notifying the government about Maktab e Tashayyo’s discontent for several months. He stressed that we cannot stay silent on uprooting of Pakistan’s foundation. Reiterating his resolve, Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali said that we have offered all kinds of sacrifices for the protection and strengthening of Pakistan at all stages and will continue to be available for the sake of beloved motherland in future. Expressing deep concerns on attempts to continue ills of Zia’s martial law, Agha Moosavi said that unwarranted restrictions are imposed on Azadari, FIRs being registered against Azadars and Zakireen under false allegations, Personal law of the followers of Shia school of thought has been attacked through controversial amendment bill in Family Laws, Biased and sectarian national curriculum has been imposed in contradiction with the teachings of Quran and Sunnah, criminal silence is maintained on blasphemies against the holy Imams from Ahl e Bait (A.S) and other sacred personalities, Takfeeri terrorist groups have been unleashed, fundamental rights are being violated by restricting Majalis and nohas even inside the houses, Ideology Council, Ulama Boards and other government institutions, councils and committees are being used to reward proscribed organizations therefore, raising peaceful voice of protest against government’s biased and discriminatory behavior towards Shias is our fundamental and constitutional right. Meanwhile, to organize nationwide mourning protests, TNFJ’s central mourning protest committee has been formed that will be led by Alhaaj Ghulam Murtaza Chohan whereas Shaukat Abbas Jafari, Irshad Ali Naqvi, Syed Samar ul Hassan Naqvi, Malik e Ashter, and Syed Tibyan Zaidi will assist the central Committee. Moreover, Allama Bisharat Hussain Imami for federal capital Islamabad, Allama Asghar Naqvi for Sindh, Allama Hussain Muqadasi Punjab, Ghazanfar Ali Advocate for KPK, Engineer Hadi Askari for Balochistan, Sajid Kazmi for Azad Kashmir and Syed Ali Moosavi al Iskandar Abadi are appointed as provincial conveners for Gilgit Baltistan. |
