ISLAMABAD, March 8: The Patron-in-Chief of the Supreme Shia Ulema Board Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that Islam is alive and evergreen today as a result of valuable sacrifices of Hussain (A.S.), Zainab (S.A.) and Sajjad (A.S.). The heinous act of terrorism in Shia Jamia Masjid Peshawar is a consequence of the leniency extended to the banned groups and is a lesson for the rulers. The government should bring the culprits to justice without delay. The whole nation is standing with the bereaved families of the innocent Nimazis who kissed Shahadat in this incident. Terrorism is also a form of Yazidiyyat which is being used by the colonial powers to present Islam as a religion of narrow-minded violence and punishments and to thwart this thinking we will have to promote Hussainiyyat. At present motherland Pakistan is confronted with one problem and the other while the world of humanity and Shariat are confronted with oppression and tyranny. He expressed these views while addressing a special function at Al-Murtaza on the occasion of Youm-e-Wiladat Purnoor of the Nawasa-e-Rasool (SAAW) Shahzada-e-Konain Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) that was observed on Monday, Shaban 3 throughout the country with devotion and respect. Agha Moosavi said that the country is profusely bleeding with terrorism while the banned groups are still not only openly gnashing their teeth but no one has touched these big crocodiles. He said he names of the poor and innocent people, for whom even it is difficult to meet both ends meet, have been included in the Fourth Schedule instead of proscribed elements. He called upon the rulers to feel the pain of the families affected by terrorism and tighten noose around them; implement the National Action Plan in letter and spirit speedily. He said the rulers and the politicians should ponder over the real reason behind all these problems. He lamented that actually the Ummah is keeping a distance from the teachings of Quran and Ahle Bait (A.S.) violating the will of the Holy Prophet (SAAW) as a result of which the whole Ummah is inching towards ignorance instead of survival. He said that in order to save the beloved homeland, to reach the heights and to attain the highest position, one has to live like Hussain (A.S.) and give priority to the death of honor over the life of humiliation. The TNFJ chief said rooting out terrorism would be a farce till the rulers and politicians will continue hugging the proscribed organizations to achieve their interests and newspapers and electronic media would continue promoting them in a positive manner. He said that every religion was harmed the most by the rulers, dictators and tyrants who wanted eternal power and in this bid resorted to distortion of religion to justify their illegitimate rule, sometimes to prolong their rule and sometimes to justify illegitimate acts. Agha Moosavi clarified that in order to save Islam from being distorted, Khatam-ul-Anbiya Muhammad Mustafa (SAAW) trained a person in the form of Imam Hussain (A.S.) who resisted the forces that stood in the way of Islamic principles through his thinking and exemplary sacrifices and provided such a strong siege to the religion of Islam till the Day of Judgment that no dictatorship, fascism, terrorism could succeed in changing and distorting the universal and eternal principles of Islam in any era. The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said the government should take urgent steps to provide security to the lives and property of the people and ensure lasting peace in the country. He said that by following the path of Hussainiyyat, the flag of truth, peace and brotherhood would always flutter high. |
