RAWALPINDI,
August 4:
In
the federal capital Islamabad, the central procession to pay
tribute to Syed al-Shuhada Imam Hussain (AS) and his 72 devoted
companions commenced from Imambargah G-6/2. Along with other
sacred relics, the procession included the replica of Zuljanah,
the standard of Ghazi Abbas, the cradle of Prince Ali Asghar,
and the sacred coffin. Thousands of mourners participated in the
procession, taking part in mourning rituals and paying tribute
to the martyrs of Karbala.
The Alam and Zuljanah procession was led by the Secretary
General of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh Jafaria Pakistan, Allama Raja
Basharat Hussain Imami. Religious scholars, office-bearers of
the movement, and prominent community leaders also accompanied
him.
While speaking to media representatives, Allama Basharat Hussain
Imami highlighted the significance, dignity, and greatness of
Arbaeen Hussaini. He said that the Chehlum of Imam Hussain (AS)
is a living example and a golden chapter of devotion that was
written with extraordinary patience, steadfastness, and
submission to the will of Allah by Hazrat Ali ibn al-Hussain
(AS) and Hazrat Zainab bint Ali (AS).
He said that despite Yazidi censorship and fabricated historical
narratives promoted by court historians, preserving and
proclaiming the banner of Hussainiyat and the truth of the Holy
Prophet’s grandson remains the miraculous achievement of the
mission carried forward by Zainab and Zain al-Abideen (AS).
Allama Imami declared that no restriction on the mourning of
Imam Hussain would ever be accepted. He said the rulers should
hear clearly that the nation has offered blood-soaked sacrifices
solely for the preservation of Ya Hussain (AS). He added that
history bears witness that wherever they choose, they are able
to raise the standard of Abbas (AS).
He further said that the administration in Punjab presents a
contradiction by announcing facilities for mourners while
simultaneously imposing restrictions on holding mourning
gatherings even inside homes. Such double standards are
unacceptable under any circumstances.
Addressing the media, he stated that regardless of how many
containers are placed on the roads, Azadari will continue under
all circumstances.
On this occasion, Allama Imami also offered special prayers for
the security and stability of Pakistan, the protection of
overseas Pakistanis, the establishment of lasting peace, and the
success of Pakistan’s armed forces.
The Alam and Zuljanah procession concluded at Imambargah G-6/2
after passing through its designated route.
Volunteers of Mukhtar Force performed security duties, while
Ibrahim Scouts carried out public service responsibilities
throughout the procession. In addition, Mukhtar Students
Organization Islamabad established the central mourning camp at
One-Two Chowk, where Sabeel-e-Hussaini, Niaz, and Tabarruk were
arranged for the mourners. |
