Special Message of Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi
In connection with the Day of Destruction of Jannatul Baqee 8 Shawal 1439 Hijra
Allah Says in the Surah Kahaf of the Holy Quran:
إِذْ يَتَنَزَعُونَ بَيْنَهُمْ أَمْرَهُمْ ۖ فَقَالُوا۟ ٱبْنُوا۟ عَلَيْهِم بُنْيَنًۭا ۖ رَّبُّهُمْ أَعْلَمُ بِهِمْ ۚ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ غَلَبُوا۟ عَلَىٰٓ أَمْرِهِمْ لَنَتَّخِذَنَّ عَلَيْهِم مَّسْجِدًۭا
(Behold, they dispute among themselves as to their affair. (Some) said, "Construct a building over them": Their Lord knows best about them: those who prevailed over their affair said, "Let us surely build a place of worship over them.") — Surah Kahaf, Ayah 21
According to interpreters, when the people apprised of the event of Ashab-e-Kahaf going into sleep for centuries and then waking up, then at that place struggle began between the supporters and opponents of the Day of Judgment. The opponents tried that people should forget the event of Ashab-e-Kahaf going into sleep and then waking up as early as possible. Therefore, they proposed that the door of the cave should be closed so that they do not appear before the people anymore. They used to say to people to remain silent, not talk much about them, their story is superstitious, their Lord knows about their situation, therefore let their story remain with them and leave them at their own. While real Momineen and Muslimeen who became aware of this event and who considered it a live argument for the positivity of real meaning of the Day of Judgment, they kept on trying that this event should not be forgotten come what may. Therefore, they said: We will construct a Masjid over their burial place so that people may not forget them and the memorial of the Ashab-e-Kahaf may become memorial of Allah’s Oneness, His Strength and Capability.
The elderly Ahle Sunnat scholar Imam Fakhruddin Razi in his ‘Tafseer-e-Kabeer’ about this Ayah states: “and the biggest benefit of this Masjid will be that the signs of Ashab-e-Kahaf will remain intact for the rest of the world through its blessings.” Allah Shahab Khafajee also states in ‘Tafseer-e-Biyazwi’ that: “This Ayah-e-Kareema has provided a clear-cut argument for constructing Masajid over the graves of Swaleheen.”
Thus the majority of Sunni, Shia interpreters have consensus on this point that with the construction of a memorial the faith enhancing event will become everlasting. It is thus proved that keeping the signs and memorials of selected personalities of Allah and those who bear problems in way of Allah is the key to keep their message alive.
The existence of Ka’aba gives luminousness to the stories of Hazrat Adam (A.S.), Hazrat Noah (A.S.) and Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S.) whereas the memorials of Safa, Marwa and Zamzam have made Hazrat Hajra (S.A.) and Hazrat Ismail (A.S.) evergreen so much so that the memorial of hitting pebbles to Satan by Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S.) was also kept intact so as to teach a lesson to the humanity. Allah made respect of these memorials obligatory by declaring these as Sha’air Allah in Quran.
وَمَن يُعَظِّمْ شَعَٓئِرَ ٱللَّهِ فَإِنَّهَا مِن تَقْوَى ٱلْقُلُوبِ
have benefits for a term appointed: In the end their place of
sacrifice is near
Respect to not only Allah but the signs of Allah are also declared Taqwa of hearts. Taqwa is also termed Zarah i.e. one who has worn the Zarah of Allah’s signs the attacks of Satanicism, polytheism and atheism cannot affect him. The signs of Allah and all places attached with Allah’s selected personalities are declared as signs of Allah. If the memorial of Hazrat Ibrahim’s (A.S.) son Ismail (A.S.) is Sha’air Allah then why the memorials of offspring of Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (SAAW) are not Sha’air Allah.
In Quran not only those memorials linked with Anbia and their faithful Khanwadas’ sacrifices are declared Sha’air Allah rather their Shabihs are also declared Sha’air Allah till the D-Day.
وَٱلْبُدْنَ جَعَلْنَهَا لَكُم مِّن شَعَٓئِرِ ٱللَّهِ لَكُمْ فِيهَا خَيْرٌۭ
(The sacrificial camels We have made for you as among the symbols from God: in them is (much) Good for you) – Surah Hajj, Ayah 36
Here not only the lamb that was sacrificed in place of Ismail (A.S.) is Sha’air Allah rather all sacrificial animals coming till the D-Day as Shabihs are declared respectable becoming Sha’air Allah. For that very reason whereas we respect the Shabih of sacrificial animal of Hazrat Ismail (A.S.) similarly we consider the respect of Asp-e-Bawafa Zuljinah of Fakhar-e-Ismail Nawasa-e-Rasool Imam Hussain (A.S.) respectable on which Quran has also stamped as correct. The Ahle Sunnat religious scholar Ameen Ahsan Islahi stated in his interpretation of this Ayah: “The status of Sha’aeerah (i.e. becoming respectable by becoming signs of Allah) is not given to every camel and female-camel rather this status is only given to those camels that are reserved for sacrifice.” (In a similar fashion, only that animal is respectable that is reserved for Imam Hussain A.S. and only that cloth becomes capable to be kissed that becomes a part of the Parcham-e-Hazrat Abbas A.S.).
When Khalil-e-Khuda Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S.) reached Mina to sacrifice his son Hazrat Ismail (A.S.) in way of Allah, then Satan at three places tried in vain to lure Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S.) from stopping to sacrifice his son and incite him to disobey Allah. Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S.) hit seven pebbles each on these three places to Satan so as to drive him out from there. Allah liked this act of throwing seven pebbles each to Satan on these three places that this act was made a part of Hajj rites. Today it is obligatory for every Haji to hit pebbles to Satan in accordance with the Sunnat-e-Ibrahimi and is included in Sha’air Allah. This symbolic act teaches every Muslim to adopt the Ibrahim path and get rid of satanic tactics.
If Allah made arrangement to keep every act of Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S.) and his Khanwada intact by declaring the same as Sha’air Allah then the memorial acts of Tajdar-e-Anbia Fakhar-e-Ibrahim Nabi Kareem Muhammad Mustafa (SAAW) and Khanwada and pious Sahaba are also definitely included in Sha’air Allah; for that reason Muslims the world over used to respect the signs of Nabi Kareem (SAAW) for centuries that are linked with Asswah-e-Rasool (SAAW). If the Nabi (SAAW) used to raise voice of Salam loudly by standing at the door of his daughter Hazrat Fatima Zahra (A.S.), then the lovers of Risalat (SAAW) considered it an obligation to pay Salam to his daughter’s memorial. When Nabi Kareem (SAAW) bitterly wept at the grave of his mother, the followers of Nabi (SAAW) considered weeps and mourning on the sufferings of Khanwada-e-Risalat (SAAW) and pious Sahaba (R.A.).
All research are in consensus that the basic reason for distortion in the messages and scriptures of Hazrat Eisa (A.S.) and other prophets was that the signs related to their lives could not be maintained. No memorial of crucifixion of Hazrat Eisa (A.S.) remains intact that is why dozens of different stories about his crucifixion came into being while despite all-out efforts of atheists, basic reason for no distortion in Islam and universal message of Quran was coming of angels in symbols memorials of Islam such as Ka’aba, Masjid-e-Nabavi, Cave of Hira, Badr, place of victory like Khyber and Khandaq and the evergreen simple life-style of Sahaba and Ahle Bait (A.S.).
Taking cognizance of this reality, the British colonialists in the beginning of 18th Century made a plan to down the great Muslim Usmani and Irani Sultanates of their time and to make Muslims soulless. The first part of that plan was declared to root out Islamic symbols, holy shrines, and memorials linked with Mashaheer-e-Islam. With the efforts of British spies like Humphrey the ideology was brought forward on the soil of Najad polluting the Islamic beliefs and ideologies with that of extremism and terrorism that foremost target of which was to raze all memorials of the Islamic World including Ka’aba and Masjid-e-Nabavi. As a result of which when the government came into the hands of those to fulfill that conspiracy of razing the holy shrines to ground under the British colonial conspiracy, they performed the first job of razing holy shrines to ground. Soon after taking over Hijaz in the 18th Century, the Aal-e-Saud and followers of Muhammad Bin Abdul Wahab razed all shrines in Makkah and Medinah and the Roza of Imam Hussain (A.S.) in Karbala and looted the Taburrakat. Afterwards, Usmani Sultanate got these holy places rid of these looters and started the reconstruction of these shrines and also constructed protective forts for these places. It is the height of the malice of the opponents of Islamic memorials that they in 2002 razed to ground ‘Al-Ajyaad’ fort constructed by Turk government to keep the holy places of Makkah Moazzamah safe from Najdi attackers in 1780 so as to root out even ideology and thinking to protect the holy places.
After the World War-I, British colonialists had also won the support of American colonialists. These big powers through mutual collusion shattered the Muslim power through use of spies and agents like Lawrence of Arabia and also imposed Zionists on the Qibla-e-Awwal and the Aal-e-Saud on the soil of Hijaz so as to root out the Islamic symbols. The Zionists took 50 years (1967) in desecration of Masjid-e-Aqsa fearing international community but the colonial agents in the garb of Islam razed the Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Moallah soon after taking over the reins of powers on 8th Shawal 1344 Hijra (21 April 1926) where the holy shrines of Sahaba Karam, Ummahatul Momineen, Ahle Bait Athaar (A.S.) and the beloved daughter of the Rasool (SAAW) Hazrat Fatima Zahra (S.A.). Shorish Kashmiri says:
Najdi ulema had also issued Fatwa to raze Gunbad-e-Khizra of Roza-e-Rasool (SAAW) but owing to the effective Khalifate Movement run by Muslims of the Sub-Continent in the leadership of Maulana Muhammad Ali Johar, the British government had to stop their agents from implementation this unholy plan when they saw that British colonial rule in Hindustan was in doldrums.
This unholy act initiated from Najad the reality hidden behind the Hadees-e-Mubarkah of Nabi Kareem (SAAW) also came in the open for world. As related by Hazrat Ibne Umar (R.A.) that (one day), Nabi Kareem (SAAW) offered a Dua: “Oh God! Provide blessing in our Syria and oh God! Provide blessing in our Yemen.” On listening this, the Sahaba Karam (R.A.) said, Ya Rasool Allah (SAAW) also for your Najad (Pray so that blessing also come to us from that area). But the Rasool (SAAW) again repeated his Dua: “Oh God! Provide blessing in our Syria and oh God! Provide blessing in our Yemen.” The Sahaba Karam (again) said: Ya Rasool Allah (SAAW) also for your Najad (utter the same Dua). The narrators say that the Rasool (SAAW) repeated the same Dua third time (in the same words) and stated about Najad that there will be earthquakes and riots there and the horn of Satan will appear from there.” (Kitab Al-Fatan Sahih Bokhari, Mishkat Sharif).
Today, owing to the same riot-mongering powers the country named Syria, about which the Nabi Kareem (SAAW) had prayed has been uprooted by the brutality of terrorists belonging to the world over and the Yemen from where cool waves used to come to the Nabi Kareem (SAAW) and for which the Rasool (SAAW) used to pray, the innocent children are dying owing to rain of ammunition on one side and of hunger and thirst on the other. Not only this but this horn of Satan has become so clear that today the houses and castles of Najad rulers in the foremost centre Markaz Al-Dariah (from where the ideology of Ibne Wahab was spread to the world), these building have been got declared international assets from the United Nations and the responsibility of protecting the same has been handed over to the world body while the real asset of the whole humanity, the symbols of the Hijaz soil that are combined asset of the human beings, first Islamic centre i.e. Home of Allah amongst the idol hubs and the buildings related to from where the ideology of protection, sacredness of humanity spread throughout the world and being wipe out speedily. Not only the shrines of Makkah and Medinah but the place of birth of the Nabi Kareem (SAAW) has been razed to ground to make way for the passage of royal family. The signs of Hazrat Abu Bakar (R.A.) has been wipe out and a hotel has been constructed on it. Public toilets have been constructed in place of the home of Ummul Momineen Hazrat Khadija (S.A.) where the confirmation of first Wahi was made. But it is tragic that Islamic World remained silent on that biggest desecration of their mother.
The ideology of terming ziarat of graves, construction of Masajid and shrines or places of worship is considered polytheism then these are seen in the light Islamic teachings and historic realities.
The question arises that when construction of Masjid over the memorial of Ashab-e-Kahaf was made in Quran then why it was not condemned. This reality points out that constructing Masajid and places of worship in respect of graves of selected religious personalities is a good and appreciable work. As no Ayah or Hadees neither negates this point of view nor rejects it, therefore, this act is good to be followed. The grave of Hazrat Ismail (A.S.) is situated near Hateem in Masjid-e-Haram. It is revealed that graves of 28 or 70 prophets are in the Masjid-e-Haram but despite that this Masjid enjoys supremacy over other Masajid on the earth. Does the Qabr-e-Rasool (SAAW) is not a part of second biggest Masjid of Islam? In 88 Hijra, the Hijra-e-Rasool where the Qabr-e-Nabi (SAAW) was situated, was included in the Masjid-e-Nabavi with consensus. The act was carried out during the era of Medinah’s Governor Hazrat Umar Bin Abdul Aziz (R.A.). Why those who issue Fatawa on the ziarat of graves forget the saying of the Holy Prophet (SAAW); Hazrat Ibne Umar relates that he (SAAW) stated that the one who performed Hajj and offered ziarat of my grave after my Wisal, will be like that person who offered my ziarat in my life-time (Mishkat Sharif, Shoeb Al-Iman). The question arises that whether dozens of Ahadees carried in Saha-Sitta do not proof Nabi Kareem’s ziarat of his beloved mother (Hazrat Amna S.A.) and crying bitterly on it and making others weep is not a proven fact. Thus ziarat of graves of selected personalities and crying remembering them is the Nabi’s (SAAW) Sunnah.
In short, respect and dignity of shrine of selected religious personalities, construction of Masajid adjacent to these, ziarat of shrines of selected religious personalities, respect and dignity of Sha’air and symbols linked with Mashaheer-e-Islam is proved from Quran and Ahadees. It is also clear that such buildings neither negate the oneness of God nor their presence affects this oneness. Worship is reserved only for Allah. There is difference between respect and worship. Allah gave commandment to perform Sajdah for the respect of Adam (A.S.); how could Zaat-e-Wahdaniyyat Himself issue commandment of polytheism. The worst enemy of oneness Iblees did not term polytheism the reason to refuse Sajdah to Adam (A.S.) rather his own arrogance. When doing Sajdah to Adam (A.S.) was termed respect and not polytheism then how can respect and ziarat of the graves of selected religious personalities, symbols linked with their lives and the Sha’air Allah, can be termed polytheism.
The respect to these symbols is not only legal but is the sign of giving strength to heart and Allah likes those more who are more pious. Allah Has promised with those who are on the path of Taqwa and respect the symbols of Allah that:
ثُمَّ نُنَجِّى ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوا۟ وَّنَذَرُ ٱلظَّلِمِينَ فِيهَا جِثِيًّۭا
(But We shall save those who guarded against evil, and We shall leave the wrong-doers therein, (Humbled) to their knees) — Surah Maryam, Ayah 72
That family and government that razed the shrines of Nabi Kareem (SAAW) and his forefathers to ground patronized the movement to raze the holy shrines to ground throughout the world is constructing the memorials of Aal-e-Saud’s forefathers with the help of UNESCO. The Khanwada that imposed restrictions on kissing the ‘Jali’ of Roza-e-Rasool (SAAW) and ziarat of shrines of Ahle Bait (A.S.) and Sahaba (R.A.) accusing them of polytheism and atheism, are today boast of giving kisses to American rulers. Those who rooted out the memorials of Shuhada of Badr and Uhad, imposed restriction on ziarat of Cave of Hira, they are extending invitation of sinful activities to tourists from all around the world making investment in casino night clubs, and coastal areas replete with pornography and nudity. Those who considered paying tributes at the shrines of selected religious personalities illegal, they paid tributes of one billion dollars to Donald Trump and they are also openly admitting that they have spent dollars and riyals lavishly to promote extremism the world over on the desire of colonial powers.
Inhidam-e-Jannatul Baqee was a test case to analyse the dignity and honour of Muslims which the Zionist and Satanic forces passed which encouraged them to put the Masjid-e-Aqsa on fire, holy soil of Palestine has been snatched from Muslims and now Bait Al-Maqdas has been made Zionist capital, shrines of Aimma Ahle Bait (A.S.) were razed to ground, rockets were showered on the shrine of Nabi’s (SAAW) granddaughter, graves of Anbia were destroyed, graved of pious Sahaba Kubar (R.A.) were dug out, but Muslims remained enjoying the deep slumber. As Allama Iqbal says:
The black day of 8th Shawal reminds of tragic incident in which shrines of Ummahatul Momineen, Sahaba Kubar and Ahle Bait Athaar (A.S.) were destroyed. As the same this day shaking the Islamic World provoking them to stop the trampling of symbols Islam’s dignity and get the dignity of those symbols revived that had been razed to ground. From Quran, Ahadees, historic facts, and the life spent by those who create riot in Islam, it has become crystal clear that Islam had nothing to do with the movement of razing the holy shrines to ground rather there was a heinous plan to divide the Islamic power that has been fulfilled to a larger extent. The destruction of Islamic symbols including Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Moallah carries a complete story of Ibleesi conspiracies against the Message of Islam, discrimination of Muslims, heinous role of international powers, hypocrisy on the part of organisations set up for international peace, and promotion of violence and extremism that is shaking the followers of oneness of God. Despite unveiling the conspiracies of the others, if the faithfuls did not fulfill their responsibilities and did not stop the destruction of holy places and take steps for their restoration, then the day is not far when even right to live on this soil will be snatched from them!!!!!
On the occasion of 8th Shawal, we reiterate our resolve once again that we will continue our struggle for the restoration of dignity of Islamic symbols till we are alive. Whether the black night full of oppression, hypocrisy, bestiality and savagery is so long, every passing moment is bringing that morning nearer when the oppressed will be made inheritors of this world; spring will come for the shrines of benefactors of Islam, the voices raised for the reconstruction and restoration of Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Moallah and holy places will meet success as it is the promise of God that will be fulfilled definitely.
